Its construction dates back to the 16th century. It is the former home of the Colegio de San Nicolás Obispo. Its permanent and temporary exhibitions reflect the work of the region's men and women throughout the centuries.

Formerly a school of the Society of Jesus, construction began in the 16th century. Today it houses temporary exhibitions of various artistic disciplines, workshops, concerts, conferences, and other cultural activities. It also houses an important engraving workshop.

The Municipal Palace Arts Gallery is a museum that has become a cultural hub for the dissemination of art in the municipality of Pátzcuaro. It is managed by the Department of Culture of the Pátzcuaro City Council. It is located inside the Municipal Palace. Since 2019, it has hosted 19 art exhibitions, including works by Alfredo Zalce; "Vatché. 40 Years. Retrospective," by the Armenian artist Vatché Geuvdjelian, who resides in Pátzcuaro; "Michoacán (Un)Masked: Muyaes Ogazón Collection"; "Dances of Michoacán: Photographs by Florence Leyret and Engravings by Artemio Rodríguez," among others.

Open when there are activities to the public

A space dedicated to the training, production, and creation of audiences for the performing arts, which seeks to prioritize communities and schools with limited or no access to the theater. The doors of the space are open during public activities (performances or workshops). Performances and introductory workshops are free. Paid activities include professional training (intensive workshops and diplomas). The cost varies depending on the activity. Appointments, requests, and reservations can be made via WhatsApp or email.

The former Temple of San Agustín, dating from 1576, now serves as a public library of the National Library Network. It houses the spectacular 14 x 12.7 m mural by Juan O'Gorman, completed in 1942. The mural narrates the history of Michoacán through four sections: creation according to the Purépecha; indigenous life before the Conquest; the arrival of the Spanish; and moments of life during the Colonial period.

Originally the rectory of the Temple of Saint Peter the Apostle, it served as a communal gathering place where peasants met to resolve their agrarian issues. It houses a rich collection of historical objects and works of art that chronicle the Purépecha agrarian struggle and resistance in Michoacán, including documents, engravings, and murals that tell the stories of important figures such as José María Morelos, Emiliano Zapata, and Lázaro Cárdenas.
