Each of Susan Dorf's sketches invokes a story, capturing the essence of the energy around her, be it a parade, protest, or people enjoying beer or cup of coffee, while displaying a sense of whimsy and often humor.
Eduardo says that the Purépecha word “uërani” (to go out) represented them in that act of “leaving home”: going to other places, visiting other towns, and sharing what they discovered. Interviewing him makes evident the generosity, integrity, curiosity, and humility that have surely played a significant role in his success.
